¶ Description
In 6G Space laboratory for the satellite orbit emulation and scenario visualization it is used an integration of two well-known Softwares: Software for Digital Mission Engineering and Systems Analysis known as System Tool Kit (STK) and Matlab.
¶ STK
STK provides a physics-based modeling environment for analyzing platforms and payloads in a realistic mission context.
System Tool Kit allows to use the next functionalities to emulate elements of 6G Orbital Missions:
- Simulation framework with an accurate Earth representation in time and space
- High-fidelity orbit integrators
- Satellite lifetime and long-term orbit predictors
- Satellite constellation modeling
- Link budget calculation
- Scenario visualization in a 3D environment
¶ Matlab
MATLAB is a programming and numeric computing platform used by engineers and scientists to analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models.
